The photo above is of my wife Kim on Christmas morning in 1966. Santa brought her a toy Jaymar piano that year. While recording the song "Safe" we used the actual piano in this photo, her parents still had it and her father had nursed it back into playing condition. We did not manipulate the sound or pitch with computers or anything, we just held a microphone up to it and recorded it. It was a beautiful and special addition to the song!
